About Us

The Cross Keys Catering Company was established in 1986 by Richard and Helen Davies who already owned the Cross Keys Country Inn and Restaurant in Stow, Lincolnshire. Richard had previously been a chef on the QE2 for fifteen years and has since established an award winning restaurant.

From Humble Beginnings…
It all began when a customer of the restaurant asked Richard if he could cater for his daughter's wedding at home. One wedding soon led to two more, and before he knew it the Outside Catering Company was established.

Over a decade later, the Cross Keys name is recognised county-wide and is synonymous with quality and excellence.

The base for the Catering Company is the restaurant in Stow, equipped to cater for functions of any size from small private dining at company or private locations, to large scale hospitality such as weddings or balls and corporate hospitality. We also provide outside bar facilities. These can be either a service bar, where you may provide your own drinks, or a fully stocked cash bar, tailored to your requirements. We have long established connections with marquee companies, entertainment and discos, all of which we can arrange on your behalf should you so wish.
